Size Chart

What size is right for you?

To be honest we have no idea. We believe, from our own studies the race suit should be slightly loose on the wearer. An air gap does help give another fraction of a second protection from the heat of a fire, but some people want to look good walking around the stage starts. Everybody is different, and that bit we do know to be true. Moving on from that, lets try to find a suit size that you will be happy with

If you refer to the size chart below, that’s the measurements we require, The suit size number on top of each column for the Standard and Ruapuna suits, or for the Monaco Suit, your size for each line. Remember whilst being measured, wear what you intend to wear under your suit, this includes standing in sox or bare feet

A RULE or THREE.... Just so you Know...

. First rule, get someone, anyone else to do the measuring!

Second rule, Please get someone else. Anyone else

Third rule, Please get someone.. Oh how this could go on...

Please remember only the Standard suits can be exchanged. All other racesuits will be made to your colour specs, or your specified sizes. Therefore unless we made the mistake, they will be yours to keep.

What to / How to measure...

Chest - Holding your arms up like a airplane, have your assistant measure your chest inline with your nipples.

Arm - With the arm down find the pointy, boney bit on your shoulder. Found it? Now lift your arm to approx. 45 degrees, bend the elbow to 90 degrees. Measure from the pointy bit down, around the outside of the elbow till just past the wrist.

Waist - With your arms still up, measure your belly inline with your belly button

Hips - Keep your arms up, measure around the biggest part of your buttocks. (arms down when done with this bit)

Inner Leg - From the floor, measure up to where you want the crotch to be, Following the inner leg.

Nape - From where you have now decided your crotch is, Start from your upper inner leg point,  measure up your back to the bottom of the collar, making sure you follow the contours of your body. This has to include your butt cheeks.

This is our Standard size chart. Measure yourself over what you would normally wear under your race suit and make your selection. Make sure you choose slightly bigger, rather than too small...
